Welcome to Timbo Studios.
I created one of these margarita paintings just for the hell
of it a year or so ago, and I was shocked by the response. "That's
fun. Can I have it?"-I heard over and over again. Well, here's your
chance.
These mixed-media paintings are done in layers.
I
build up thick textures with acrylic paint, gel mediums and whatever
else I can get my hands on. The resulting effect creates depth,
energy and hopefully, a smile.
Many things inspire this
margarita madness: travels to mexico and abroad, the work of william
debilzan and sunny days here in austin.
Margaritas are
associated with good times.
Why not get a little slice of fun for
your walls?
(with or without salt!)
Give me a shout if
you'd like to view a piece up close or just discuss your favorite
frozen.
Artfully yours,
Timbo
